MAYDAY RUNNER is an atmospheric first-person space simulator rendered in a unique ASCII Ray-Tracing aesthetic. You are the pilot of a rescue shuttle lost in the treacherous Sector 6Z-OV, where the gravity of black holes warps space itself and the ether is choked with the interference of dying stars.

THE MISSION

Your ship has intercepted a series of faint distress signals. Your objective is to scour the sector, triangulate the sources using your onboard multi-channel spectrum analyzer, and uncover the fate of the missing expeditions. But stay sharp: fuel is finite, and the event horizon of a black hole offers no second chances for navigation errors.

• Orbital Mechanics: Navigate through the complex gravitational fields of stars and planets. Use the engine terminal to manage thrust vectors and maintain your orbit.
• Interactive Cockpit: Move freely within the cramped confines of your vessel. Interact with onboard computers, diagnostic terminals, and the sector’s strategic navigation map.

• MOUSE — Look around.
• E — Interact with terminals and systems.
• A / D (Radio Mode) — Tune frequency.
• Z / X (Pilot Mode) — Control yaw thrust
• ESC — Exit system.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Terminal: It is highly recommended to play in Fullscreen mode (F11) for maximum immersion, but it takes very much CPU resources.
